Love the Manor ans Ashbury and have been numerous times. Great range of crafts available. Food is fantastic - buffet style at every meal with pleny of choices hot and cold. Not sure about the online activity booking which is new. Found it difficult to access WiFi at some points and a lot of activities had no spaces left. On the old system a new time slot would be opened up and you could see if people had cancelled and sign up in those spaces. There are a few issues with the app and not all activities were bookable. I visited the activities desk though who were able to book it for me. I prefer the old system, hence 4 stars instead of 5.
This is a wonderful place. With so much variety in the type of activities you can do, whether it be creative or sport related you will never be bored. There is entertainment every evening. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed I had was very firm so I asked for an extra duvet. They not only took the duvet to my room but also remade the bed with the duvet under the base sheet !!! Now that is good customer service. The food is absolutely top-notch. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the accommodation is very utilitarian. But to be honest that really doesn't matter because what you're actually paying for is the overall experience. To be honest if they overhaul the rooms they'd have to put the prices up and I won't be able to afford to go. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. What an amazing place. Beautiful surroundings. Good accommodation . A great dining hall with plenty of food choices. A huge choice of activities for all the family. I particularly enjoyed trying new crafts with the excellent support from the staff,
I was taken to The Manor by my family as a surprise for my birthday and it was an amazing weekend. What a treat. There is so much to do! Crafts that are interesting and different, like glass resin making and pyrography, activities to keep you busy all day. Swimming, spa, snooker, shooting, mini golf! The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back to try out more different crafts!
Great fun, but pricey now. Food average. Renovation is much very nice, something for everyone to do all hours of the day.
Having stayed at the Manor House hotel for a couple of birthdays we have enjoyed the plentiful choice of activities. From ice-curling to pottery..they have it all. Rooms are a little dated, but entertainment and food make up for it. The hydro spa is our favourite part. Looking forward to going back again.
Always awesome! Staff are friendly, crafts are well organised and changed since our last visit. Food is plentiful and tasty. Lots of other activities and entertainment on every night! Would definitely recommend!
